✦ Celebrate the beauty of handcrafted jewelry ✦

Indulge in the artistry of Pompellmo's handmade collection, where each piece is a unique work of art. Every piece at Pompellmo starts with my hands - not a machine.

Sand Casting

Most of my pieces are brought to life through sand casting. Sand casting is one of the oldest known metalworking techniques, used for thousands of years to capture form with raw honesty. I press wax, organic textures, or hand-carved molds into compacted sand to create a temporary negative. Then, molten silver is poured into that form, filling the void, picking up every subtle ridge, and cooling into a one-of-a-kind sculpture.

No two casts are alike. The sand casting process captures every fingerprint, pressure mark, and quirk of the metal. Each one carries small irregularities - ripples, pits, textures - that speak to the physical moment it was made. These aren't flaws. They're a fingerprint of the process, a reminder that your jewelry wasn't milled in a factory but born in a ritual of slowness, experimentation, and imperfection.

In a world of mass production and overconsumption, I choose to slow down through this process. It forces care, attention, and patience, and I think that’s part of what makes the final piece so personal - not just for me, but for the person who wears it.

You're Wearing the Process

When you wear a piece from Pompellmo, you’re not just wearing silver or gold. You’re wearing the pressure of the mold, the heat of the pour, and the intention behind every mark.

This is not factory work. It’s personal work.

And it’s made for you.
